Welcome to Hillmount House the home to beautiful events. This privately owned Georgian house, barn and sea-view gardens in County Antrim, Northern Ireland offers a unique venue for stylish weddings. Create a bespoke wedding for your guests in our newly renovated Georgian barn or dine al fresco on the lawns. What makes our venue truly special is the exclusive hire of our wonderful Georgian Country House for up to 10 people. As we are an owner-operated team, we promise you a professional and personalized service with a down-to-earth approach making your event planning and big day seamless and memorable for all the right reasons.

Facilities
Hillmount House is located in Drains Bay, near Larne in Co. Antrim. Its rear gardens in lawns sweep down towards the sea. The Coach House with open court yard and upstairs terrace provides the perfect space for your drinks reception while The Barn can accommodate up to 140 people for dinner, wedding ceremony or entertaining your guests. The main house with 5 double / twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen / dining room, drawing room, cosy living room and formal dining room is available for exclusive serviced hire for up to 10 people. There is private car-parking on-site.

Managing Director, Naomi Brennan with curators Andrew and Simon have created a unique venue suitable for special bespoke weddings and corporate events. Hillmount has been pain-stakingly refurbished, renovated and replanted to create an exclusive country house venue. With Andrew's background in interior design, the stylish interior finishes are sophisticated and elegant, but also comfortable and relaxing. Their friendly down-to-earth welcome will make you and your guests feel instantly at home.
What makes us unique
History of Hillmount
This gentleman's residence was built in 1728 for the Countess of Antrim. The Georgian part of the house has been well maintained and was given grade 2 listed status in the late 1970's. The gate lodge and gates are also listed.
