Weekend House Party
You and your bridal party can celebrate the eve of your wedding day with a glass of bubbles in our Georgian country house and wake up relaxed and refreshed for the big day ahead.
No carriages are required at the end of the day for you and yours, just slip upstairs to bed.
Our House Manager will look after your every need, including a hearty Irish breakfast to set you up for the day.

Drinks Packages
Our packages are designed to cover your day seamlessly from the initial courtyard reception through to the evening celebrations in The Barn.
Entry Package
£19 per person- Drinks Reception: 1 glass of Prosecco and 1 beer per guest
- Speeches: 1 glass of Prosecco for the toasts
- Wedding Meal: 1 glass of red, white, or rosé house wine, plus iced water for each table
Premium Package
£29 per person- Drinks Reception: 2 glasses of Prosecco, 2 beers, plus 1 choice cocktail
- Speeches: 1 glass of Prosecco for the toasts
- Wedding Meal: Half bottle of red, white, or rosé wine per guest, plus iced water
Non-Alcoholic
£12 per person- Drinks Reception: Refreshing sparkling elderflower pressé
- Speeches: Chilled Shloer or Nosecco for the toasts
- Wedding Meal: Fresh jugs of fruit cordial and iced water
Hillmount House is a fully licensed venue and guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol. We maintain a minimum bar spend of £500 to cover staffing, stocking, and recycling logistics.

For weddings booked more than a year in advance, payments are spread evenly to keep planning comfortable:
If you are booking less than a year in advance, we will naturally tailor the schedule to fit your timeline. We will also meet in person six weeks before your big day to confirm every fine detail together.
Suggested Day Timeline
Every wedding runs to its own rhythm, but this relaxed outline shows how celebrations typically flow across our spaces.
The Ceremony
Guests gather either outdoors on our sea-view lawns or wild meadow, or sheltered inside the historic Coach House or The Barn.
Drinks Reception & Photographs
Guests enjoy canapés, drinks, and music across the open courtyard and terrace while you take portraits across the 10-acre estate. The wedding cake is traditionally cut during this time.
Move to The Barn
Guests make their way into The Barn to take their seats ahead of dinner.
Speeches
We find holding speeches before the meal allows speakers to relax and thoroughly enjoy their dinner.
The Wedding Meal
Dinner service begins, tailored around your chosen catering team and menus.
Evening Guests & First Dance
Evening guests arrive as tables are cleared for dancing, followed by your First Dance.
Evening Supper
Warm supper served to keep guests energised while your live band or DJ plays.
Bar Closes & Carriages
Music ends and the bar closes at midnight, with guests departing by 12:30 am (extended to 1:30 am if a late bar licence is booked).
