Every so often, a wedding day comes along that feels entirely effortless, where the laughter just flows from the moment the morning prep begins until the last song of the night. Emma and David’s recent celebration here at Hillmount was exactly that, a beautiful, relaxed day filled with so much warmth and surrounded by their closest family and friends. We were fortunate enough to have the wonderful team from Pure Photo NI on hand to capture every single moment, and looking through these images honestly brings the whole day back to life.
When it came to the ceremony itself, they chose the intimate, rustic elegance of the Coach House. There is a lovely, comforting feeling to that space with its exposed stone walls and soft lighting, which makes it perfect for couples who want their ceremony to feel close, personal, and grounded. Standing at the top of the aisle, David looked incredibly sharp in his white dinner jacket, waiting patiently as Emma made her way down to join him.
After signing the register alongside their wedding party, the brand new Mr and Mrs walked back down the aisle to a massive chorus of cheers.
Once the formalities were wrapped up, everyone headed outside into the open courtyard and our sea-view gardens for the drinks reception. Northern Ireland wedding venues can sometimes be at the mercy of the elements, but the weather behaved itself beautifully, allowing guests to mingle comfortably with a drink in hand.
The grounds here look so beautiful at this time of year, and it gave Emma and David a little bit of quiet time to sneak away together down the lanes for their portrait session with the photographer.
It really was a privilege to host Emma and David’s big day, and we dont think we will ever tire of seeing how each couple puts their own completely unique stamp on our home.
