Many wedding venues in Northern Ireland offer one room or one style. At Hillmount House you have the whole estate: when you book, you gain exclusive use of the 10-acre grounds and the 300-year-old Georgian country house, and we only ever host one wedding a day.

The five spaces
The House
The 1728 Georgian house, for the two of you and your closest family and friends to stay, with breakfast served by our housekeeper.
The Courtyard
A sheltered stone courtyard between the house and the Coach House for drinks receptions, speeches and ice-cream.
The Coach House
Exposed stone and candlelight for intimate ceremonies, with an open courtyard and an elegant upstairs terrace.
The Barn
A striking, spacious events building with an eight-metre Art Deco cocktail bar, for dinner and dancing.

Drinks and photographs
Canapés, drinks and music across the courtyard and terrace while you take portraits around the estate.

Into The Barn
Guests take their seats ahead of dinner.
- 5:00pm
Speeches
Held before the meal, so speakers can relax and enjoy their dinner.
- 5:30pm
The wedding meal
Served by your chosen caterer.
- 8:00pm
Evening guests and first dance
Tables are cleared for dancing.
- 12:00am
Carriages
The bar closes at midnight and guests leave by 12.30am, or later with a late bar.
