Laura & Neil’s Wedding at Hillmount House

Laura and Neil’s wedding was a really lovely day to be part of. Laura and her bridal party began the day getting ready in the main house, where the historic staircase in Hillmount House made for a nice backdrop as she spent the morning with her bridesmaids and flower girls before the ceremony began. She looked beautiful in her dress, and having that quiet time in the Georgian country house always helps to make the morning feel a bit more relaxed.

The ceremony itself took place inside the Coach House, which gave the couple a warm and intimate setting to exchange their vows surrounded by family and friends. After the formalities were over, everyone was able to head out into the grounds and gardens for photographs, taking full advantage of the pathways and views looking down towards the sea.

As the day naturally transitioned into the evening, the celebration moved over to the Barn. The team at Streetza Pizza set up their wood fired oven to keep the guests well fed, which went down brilliantly as a relaxed dining option while the party got underway. The atmosphere stayed lively all night with some fantastic traditional Irish dancing on the floor, and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the dancing and celebrating in the space until late.

It was a genuine pleasure to host such a happy celebration for Laura and Neil. We wish them a very long and happy marriage together, and we are incredibly grateful that they chose Hillmount House for their wedding day.
