Lynsay & Diarmuid’s Wedding Day
There is something lovely about those days where everything just seems to settle into an easy rhythm from the moment you wake up, and Lynsay and Diarmuid’s wedding was filled with that exact warmth from early morning right through to the last song in The Barn.
A Relaxed Morning in the Georgian House
The day began quietly inside the main Georgian country house, with morning light filtering through the tall sash windows while Lynsay, her bridesmaids, and family settled in for hair and makeup. Having Suzy O look after makeup and Jade Graham styling hair alongside AJM Beauty Studio gave the bridal suite such a relaxed, cheerful feeling where nobody felt hurried along or pressed for time.
Meanwhile, Diarmuid and his groomsmen arrived looking exceptionally sharp in classic tailoring from Chris Suitor, greeting friends and family as everyone started gathering around the courtyard for a drink and a catch-up before taking their seats.
A Meaningful Ceremony with Music and Sea Air
Their ceremony was led with great care and sincerity by celebrant Michael McAlinden, who brought a lovely balance of laughter, personal stories, and genuine meaning to their vows. With James Quinn playing acoustic music in the background, the atmosphere was gentle and intimate, surrounded by the mature trees and coastal breeze drifting up from Drains Bay.
Once the vows were spoken and the papers signed, guests wandered through to the stone courtyard for a glass of fizz and canapés, while Lauren from Lit Photography took Lynsay and Diarmuid for a quiet walk through the grounds. Working together with Media Forty Three and Story Through Wedding behind the cameras, they captured so many candid, unposed moments across the wild meadow and garden paths without keeping the couple away from their guests for too long.

Dinner, Speeches, and Evening Festivities in The Barn
As early evening approached, everyone moved inside The Barn for dinner, where the banquet tables had been laid with soft candlelight and subtle floral arrangements. Speeches brought plenty of laughter and a few happy tears across the room, followed by great food and drinks served from our Art Deco bar.
When the dinner tables were cleared, Glen Houston Entertainment took over and had the dance floor packed within minutes. Between the music, late-night drinks, and guests popping outside to chat under the courtyard festoon lights, it was an absolute pleasure hosting Lynsay, Diarmuid, and everyone who came along to celebrate with them.
